Let agents buy from your store. On your terms.
Shopping agents like Muse, ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude can now go from search to paid order. The platforms are deciding which stores they buy from and how your customer pays. Pegasus Commerce puts you back in that seat: decide which agents get in, keep your own ways to pay, and hold a record you can prove, on a store you own.
Coming soon · open platforms only
What changed
In two weeks, an agent went from launch to paid order without a checkout page.
Muse is the fastest example, not the only one. ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude reach stores through protocols of their own, each arriving with defaults its platform negotiated. The agents are coming either way. The question is whose rules they follow when they arrive.

What you lose by default
Blocking every agent and admitting every agent are the same mistake.
Stores on a platform's default path get agent access handed to them. Everyone else gets it done to them, through connectors someone else builds or an agent driving a browser. Either way, the decisions that matter slip out of the merchant's hands.
Who gets in
You can't tell a customer's agent from a scraper, so you block them all or let anything in.
How your customer pays
Agents default to the card on file. Your installment plans, lease-to-own or store financing never show up.
What the agent may do
Nothing limits what it spends once it's inside, or stops it accepting terms the person never saw.
The record
After a dispute you have an order and a charge. You can't show who the agent was, or what the shopper agreed to.
What it does
Be transactable by every agent, under your own rules.
Pegasus Commerce is agent commerce from Pegasus Source. It pairs with Beacon, the Pegasus Source platform for getting a business found by AI agents. Beacon gets you found. Pegasus Commerce is where the agent lands and buys. It sits in front of the store you already own, and keeps three things with you.
Every agent proves who it is and who sent it before it sees a price. You set each one to blocked, browse or transact.
Unverified agents are always refused, and logged.
Card, buy-now-pay-later, lease-to-own or your own lender reach the agent with their full cost attached.
Only the shopper accepts terms, never the agent.
Your store stays the system of record. Every step lands on a hash-chained record you can verify.
Open platforms only. No platform landlord.
How a purchase flows
The agent can shop, compare and prepare. It never signs for the person.
Arrive
The agent finds your store over UCP, ACP, MCP or a Muse connector. One door, four protocols.
Admit
Who is the agent, who sent it, what may it do, how far does that reach. Your policy sets the level.
Build the cart
Inside the shopper's signed spending limit, enforced in code before a cart exists. Split carts don't get around it.
Offer
Your providers decide credit. Every option travels with its full cost; the agent can't drop one.
Approve
The shopper accepts the terms on their own device, on a screen the provider renders.
Record
An acceptance record, chained to the entry before it. Edit one later and it, and everything after it, stops verifying.
Your door, agent by agent
Verified isn't the same as welcome. You decide.
Change a level whenever you like. Your console shows which agents arrived, what they bought, and which ones you turned away, with the reason.
Nothing. The attempt is logged and shown to you.
Never reaches your store or a provider.
Reads your catalog, prices, stock and payment terms.
Can't open a checkout.
Checks out within the shopper's delegation.
Can't exceed it, or accept terms.
Payments & financing
Keep your whole payment mix in the agent's checkout.
Every provider plugs in through the same four calls: offer, accept, status, reverse. Pegasus Commerce never decides credit; the provider does. And it’s worth running with card alone.
Stripe
One integration covers card and, where Stripe has them live, Affirm, Klarna and Zip through its agent payment tokens.
For the shoppers agents leave out
Lease-to-own offers carry their full disclosures: total cost to own, payment schedule, early-purchase price.
Bring your decision engine
A bank or lender plugs its own credit decision into the same four calls and keeps it on its own system of record.
Your store, your stack
Open platforms you own. Nobody's tenant.
Pegasus Commerce runs only on stores the merchant owns. Shopify and other proprietary platforms are out by design: the point is that nobody else decides who buys from you.
| Platform | How Pegasus Commerce connects |
|---|---|
| Medusa | Reference build. UCP and ACP already speak through an open-source plugin; Pegasus Commerce puts your door in front of it. |
| WooCommerce | Adapter, installed as a plugin beside your store. |
| Saleor & others | Next, on the same small adapter contract. |
The Medusa build
Pegasus Commerce ships with a complete Medusa store, admin and storefront included, that you own outright and can take with you, including away from us. A one-time import brings your catalog and customers across; the old connection is cut at cutover.
Three ways to run it
One product, offered so anyone can run it.
For small and mid-size merchants
We build and run it on AWS, one isolated store per merchant. You run the console; we run the rest.
For merchants who want it in-house
The same product on your own infrastructure. You run it; we support it.
For agencies, hosts and platforms
White-label or embedded. You onboard merchants; Pegasus Commerce runs underneath.
See it running
Six agents, one checkout. Watch every door.
The Silver Lake Marketplace puts Pegasus Commerce in front of a partner furniture store, with the lender's own decision engine as the financing provider. Walk six arrivals through it: approved, declined with other options shown, referred to a person, and refused at the door or at the spending limit.
The Silver Lake Marketplace
Watch each agent cross the door, see every offer with its full cost, and read the record it leaves.
Open the marketplace ↗Silver Lake Financial Group and its partner store are fictitious demonstration companies. The checkout is illustrated and runs in your browser; nothing is sold.
Straight answers
Is Pegasus Commerce available today?
Pegasus Commerce is coming soon. Until then, the Silver Lake Marketplace shows how it works, as an illustration you can walk through today.
Which store platforms does it support?
Open platforms you own: Medusa as the reference, WooCommerce through an adapter, Saleor and others next. Shopify is excluded by design. If you're not on an open platform, the Medusa build is the way in, and you own it outright.
Can an agent accept financing for my customer?
No. It can search, compare, fill the cart within the shopper's limit and present every option with its full cost. Only the shopper accepts terms, on their own device.
What about Muse specifically?
Pegasus Commerce exposes your store through a Muse connector submitted for Meta's review, alongside UCP, ACP and MCP. Without a reviewed connector, Muse either builds an unreviewed one per user or drives a browser, and both skip your admission policy.
Do I have to use a particular payment provider?
No. Providers plug in through four calls. Card and pay-later through Stripe, lease-to-own, or your own lender all work the same way, and Pegasus Commerce is useful with card alone.
